The Eleven Sport is a company founded in the USA with a main objective: Promote the Soccer with Passion.
The company was created using the philosophy in Soccer and a Brazilian Methodology to learn to play soccer, by Alex Mathias, a Brazilian Coach. Since 2001, Alex recept teams and players in Brazil and took players to the USA, for camps, clinics and to play for High Schools and Colleges.
A pioneer in leading and promoting women’s soccer in Brazil for the last (20) years, Alex provided numerous opportunities for young players starting a career in soccer and recruitment to the Brazilian National team (specially for girls). Alex has developed a great athlete exchange relationship with recognized clubs and educational facilities throughout the United States and Europe.
Coordinator and representative of many Brazilian athletes in exchange programs between Brazil, United States, Canada and other European countries, Alex organized a number of training camps and tournaments in Brazil for foreign teams to experience the Brazilian soccer style.
Many events included hosting foreign teams from the USA, Canada, Central America and Europe in pre-seasons and tours including ODP (Olympic Development Program) and U-17 USA National Team athletes.
Mathias has coached and accompanied many teams and individual players in the US and Europe during tournaments and camps.
Alex’s professional background includes (30) years of Military Service as a Soccer Instructor, Coach and Public Relations for sport related activities in the Brazilian Air Force, included the Air Force Sports Commission (CDA – in the Air Force University) and International Conseil of Military Sports (CISM).
Working with Sports and Soccer since 1991, in 2002, Coach Mathias developed a soccer program where more than 50 girls was indicated to play in other countries (Colleges and High Schools in the USA and clubs in Europe). Currently, more than 20 girls are playing and studying in the USA.
Up to now, 16 girls who were trained under Coach Mathias have played for Brazilian National Teams (U20, U17 and U15), including (5) goalies.
Alex worked in Soccer Programs as Coach and Manager in several clubs and institutions as CBF (Brazilian Soccer Confederation), C.R. Flamengo, Botafogo F.R., São Cristóvão F.R., C. R. Vasco da Gama, Vitória de Santo Antão, BFUT (Brazilian Soccer Institute – BFUT) and Rush Soccer. Promoted and Organized several clinics and Pre-Seasons for Clubs and Colleges as Team Chicago Soccer Club, USA National Team U17, ODP Region II, Southwest United (Calgary, Canada), John Brown University, Bethel University, Concordia College, Surf Soccer, New Jersey Stars, Brondby (Denmark), Lee University
As Coach, Alex Mathias won the Social Soccer World Cup Rio de Janeiro 2010, and the Military World Cup Biloxi, Mississipi 2009, and others.
